How Would You Use $5000?
September 25th, 2007 by Liz Fuller
AVON is giving away $5000 a week to intiatives that empower women!!
Their Hello Tomorrow Fund awards women or men who Empower Women through one of three areas:
Business Development
A for-profit business that directly empowers women through its mission, product or service, or through the means of doing business.
Community Service
A non-profit project or program that helps women (of any age) realize their full potential or overcome obstacles.
Awareness & Outreach
Educate others about an issue that affects women in order to inspire and empower other women and have a positive impact on the issue.
AVON started announcing winners in April 2007 and will continue through April 2008.
Final submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. EST on December 10th, 2007 for weekly awards announced between January 8th, 2008 and April 15th, 2008.
The application is short and non-intimidating. You just have to provide some background information about yourself and answer a few short (150 words) questions.
So, now let me ask you (since it is one of the questions), what would you do with $5000?
For me, I’d invest in informational products that would enable me to get my message out to more women: audio, video and e-books that provide information, inspiration and support to women entrepreneurs.
What about you? Would you invest in marketing? more inventory? better computer equipment? Whatever it is, share below what you would do with a $5000 grant for your business.

I think that it’s great that you’re urging women to join together for success. As a network marketer myself, I couldn’t do it without some of the ladies in my network who help each other to succeed.
Women need to realize that when we join our creative forces and our special ability to multitask, we can achieve so much more success as entrepreneurs.
I hope that the message you’re sending here sinks in and a lot more women are able to succeed in the world of business. We do not need to be intimidated because there are women all over the world having tremendous success.
I have created a special section on one of my own websites that consisits of websites that are owned and operated by work at home moms and have had tremendous response from ladies who want to be part of it.
When women join forces, there’s no stopping us.
To Your Success!

Thanks for you comments Sheree!
I agree, our ability to work together, and provide information, inspiration and support to each other is one of our best strengths as Women Entrepreneurs.
WE can each find greater success when WE reach out to help each other succeed!
