Goal Accountability Update Oct 1st
October 1st, 2007 by Liz Fuller
It’s Monday morning and time to check in on my progress against my goals. This week went pretty well - I achieved my number one goal - I now have the ability for you to subscribe to my ezine!!! Just fill out the short form on the lower left hand side of the page. Plus, when you subscribe you get a free copy of my special 8 page report entitled “Getting Out of Your Own Way: 7 Steps to Sustainable Success for Women Entreprenerus.” !!
I also wrote and published half a dozen articles - not as many as I had targeted, but pretty close. And I started organizing my networking contacts as well as kept up with blog posts and clients.
This coming week will be pretty challenging - I’m in Phoenix for a lot of all day meetings then I’m travelling to Ohio Thursday night to spend the weekend with my family. We’re celebrating my mother’s 70th birthday.
So, for this week, I’m keeping my goals reasonable. Just catching up on any gaps from the ones I already had plus maintaining progress with my blog and clients.
As you’ll read in my special report, many women become entrepreneurs because they want more flexiblity and balance in their lives. Women Entrepreneurs are often pulled in conflicting directions due to the many roles we play. Trying to be all things to all people can be counter-productive. We end up doing several things poorly rather than a few things really well. In the end, we can disappoint our family, or damage our professional credibility. By having a clear plan of our goals and commitments, we can adjust our schedules whenever unexpected crises or opportunities present themselves.
So, I’ll be able to fit in all my other demands and still make fair progress toward my goals.
How about you? How are you doing on your goals?
