It's amazing how connected the internet is making us with each other. I have loaned money to entrepreneurs through Kiva. They make it very easy - they accept Paypal and credit cards directly. They also offer gift certificates which are a nice and unusual present for friends and family who "already have everything." They get the pleasure and satisfaction of "investing" in a small business.
