Top 10 Distinctions Between Millionaires and the Middle Class #2

Today’s post is the second in my series exploring Keith Cameron Smith’s book
Distinction 2:
Millionaires focus on increasing their networth.
The middle class focuses on increasing its paychecks.
This is a very common point that I find among entrepreneurs - and people in general. WE focus a great deal on how much money we are earning on a monthly basis. While this is important, it ties us to continuing to earn that much on a regular basis. As long as our focus is on our earnings - we are dependent on our earnings.
The real power, and the ultimate goal, lies in financial independence - In other words, having enough net worth so as to be able to live independent of a regular paycheck.
This may sound far-fetched to some, but it is a real and obtainable goal, especially for entrepreneurs.
What financial goals do you have? Are they to earn more? Or to have your financial net worth more?
